Tot School (22 months)

 Another post! YAY!! I finally got organized and bought some boxes for tot school! These are the activities for the next couple of weeks. : )

 We have opening jars and using a screwdriver to screw screws, Prewriting skills, ABC box, blocks, and matching/cooking. We also have football, soccer and bubbles for outdoor play. Below are pictures of Bee using the boxes. : )

Felt Fruit

I have fallen in love with making felt fruit for Bee and Yum.  In three days, working mainly during nap and an hour or two in the evening after bedtime for Bee I have created these!

There are 10 strawberries, 4 blueberries, 3 orange wedges, 2 tomato slices, half a lemon and a whole pineapple. Click the fruit to see my patterns/inspiration.

There are so many more to do.  I plan to continue with fruit for now then branch out into vegetables and try my luck shortly after with lunches, dinners, and other things of interest. Like muffins, pies, cakes, etc...

Tot School!

We're Back! (Hopefully for more than just this week)

Wow, has life been busy, fun, interesting, and CRAZY! Bee and Yum are doing wonderfully and we are doing our best to squeeze in some sort of "tot school" activity each day. Whether that be going to a museum, sorting with our beads/pompoms, or baking.  The list goes on and on about some of the things we've done in the last month. Here are some pictures of what we've been up to. I won't say a lot about them but if you have any questions regarding what we are doing in the picture just ask and I'll tell you all about it!

As I said above we are trying to squeeze in tot school experiences and activities everyday but it can be a challenge. Hope to be able to post again next week. Happy Schoolin'

New Arrival.

 We are thrilled to welcome Yum to the family! This is our new little guy William who I'll call Yum for our blog. "Yum" is how Bee says his name so it's going to stick. This is us at the hospital waiting to be discharged.

Tot School Lately!

It's Been a crazy couple of weeks! Bee is now a BIG BROTHER!!! So Tot School posts might be infrequent for a little while. Here are a couple from the past month. 

 Bee cutting his wooden food. He loves to practice this important life skill.

William Joseph joined our family March 25th at 4:45 AM. Yay!!!

It's been a while!

It's been a while since I've posted. Baby 2 has not arrived yet but with the last month of pregnancy has come exhaustion!! So when I'm not playing with Bee, cleaning, or running errands I'm napping or just laying on the couch. We are still keeping up with TotSchool just not doing too much new stuff.  Really just working diligently on things that we haven't mastered like numbers and shapes. 

We now know circle, heart, star, and rectangle (most of the time).  Bee can match all his shapes but we are still working on naming them all.  Bee will also repeat every number after you 1-10 (except 3).  So we're working on him counting by himself.  It typically goes something like this... "1...2...2...8....9...8....9...." But hey, progress is progress.  We've also started trying to get Bee to sing more with us rather than just us singing the songs.  So during Row your Boat. Bee will say boat, stream, and dream at the end of each part. : )  He's also trying to sing this "peek a boo" song that we sing at gymboree on his own and it's pretty entertaining. : )

I'll try to do an actual Tot School post with pictures and all soon, but I can't guarantee anything! We haven't uploaded pictures to the computer in... two or three weeks!
